Workstation 10: Virtual Video Adapter bug.

The card and the driver for it are stable but it won't draw image resource for DirectX programs correctly. Maybe the Texture Buffer isn't proceeded correctly. The image in video memory has not been aligned properly, Byte number of each line of image in sufface memory is shorter than should(Maybe bytes should be implemented into a line until its length is multiple of 4-byte width Word(DWORD)?), which cause the picture on screen is skewed and totally messed up.

1. Currently I just noticed it when running Win8 metro UI app: MS solitaire collection and minesweeper game(which are all Free), The solitaire won't draw cards correctly, and the minesweeper won't show buggs correctly(if any mine has been triggered and the 'lost' result is shown, during the result being shown). Other 3d-interface programs have not been tested yet, including any desktop program.

2. At first i doubted if it was the bug of the games, Then i found that if i disable the vmware SVGA 3d driver to let only the standard video driver work, then those games would all displayed normally. Although they are running and responding quite slow either.

3. I doubted if it was the bug of the video-adapter driver(vmware SVGA 3d WDDM) also, rather than the virtual video adapter itself. I used the old Windows 8 VM created in VM workstation 9, which was working correctly in those 3d games(i have used the VM8 video driver for win7, because the driver for win8 in VM9 won't support hardware 3d-accelerating) in VM9, The 3d driver in win8 have some issues in regular 2d mode, like drawing element in wrong position randomly, which seems fixed in VM10. When i loaded that VM with workstation 10 i found that the same wrong result was got(All my VM copy has been with the snapshorts, So I can undo modifications as I need). If i updated the VMTools in it then only the 2D issues would go away. Shortly words: with the same video driver and getting 2 different results, so it can be sure that the issue is the VM's.
